Bangla-O-Biswa is organizing a Fund-Raising Music Concert in the Greater Boston Area on October 20, 2023. The event is named as “An Evening with Amit Kumar”. AMIT KUMAR is a renowned play-back singer from India. He and his band of 7 Musicians along with an accompanied Female Vocalist will be performing in the concert.

Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman’s death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows. In addition to singing in Hindi, has also performed in Bengali, Bhojpuri, Odia, Assamese, Marathi and Konkani. He is the eldest son of singer-actor Kishore Kumar.
Amit Kumar has performed in many charity events that have helped to make a difference to the society. Music is the best way to reach out and draw the public in a large crowd to donate to the cause, we are thankful to Amit Kumar for doing this concert as the funds raised will go towards needy and poor families in India.
